Gov. Branstad Town Hall Meeting Monday at Dordt
October 15, 2010
The
Dordt College Young Republicans Club and DPAC (Dordt Political Action Club) will host a town hall meeting featuring Republican gubernatorial candidate Terry Branstad on Monday, Oct. 18, at 11:30 a.m. in the Campus Center’s Eckardt Lounge.
The public is invited to this free event, paid for by Governor Branstad 2010.
Former governor Terry Branstad was Iowa’s longest-serving governor, from 1983 to 1999. Following his four terms in office, Branstad went on to serve as president of Des Moines University for six years, stepping down from that position in 2009 to begin his 2010 general election campaign for governor. On June 24, Branstad named Iowa Sen. Kim Reynolds, R-Osceola, as his lieutenant governor running mate.
