Comedian Jeff Allen to perform here

August 30, 2010

Making people laugh as hard as is humanly possible is the life calling of Christian comedian Jeff Allen.

An evening filled with laughter is guaranteed at his guest appearance on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m., in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College.

Allen’s Sioux Center show comes on the heels of a national comedy tour, multiple cable network appearances, a television sitcom, and multiple DVD releases.

Allen’s “Happy Wife, Happy Life” message has given laughter and encouragement to millions of people, while revealing how an atheist struggling with alcoholism, drug abuse, and depression has been transformed into an inspirational comedian. His message brings out the humor in everyday family life, with a message of the joy derived from a healthy marriage.

Tickets are $12 in advance, with a group rate of $10 each for groups of 10 or more. They are available by calling 712-722-6028 or emailing Wes Fopma. Tickets sold at the door the night of the performance will be $15.
