Lighten Up with humor of Ken Davis Sept. 12

He’s a comedian, motivational speaker, radio/tv personality and author, and he’s coming to Sioux Center.

Ken Davis is scheduled to perform Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. in Dordt College’s B.J. Haan Auditorium. He is one of the most sought after speakers in North America, and host of the popular radio show “Lighten Up,” heard daily on over 800 stations across America.

Blending humor with inspiration, Davis brings both laughter and a message of hope and encouragement to audiences of all ages.

Davis was born and raised in Minnesota, where he graduated from Oak Hills Bible College. He spent 15 years working for Youth for Christ, and in the last 25 years has traveled both nationally and internationally.

As president of Dynamic Communications, Ken provides seminars and a video series that teach speaking skills to ministry personnel and corporate executives.

Davis has also written nine books including, “How to Live with Your Parents Without Losing Your Mind,” and “How to Live with Your Kids When You’ve Already Lost Your Mind.” His books have received national critical acclaim, including the Campus Life Book of the Year Award and the Christian Publishers Association Gold Medallion Award.
