Sea-to-Sea to make Dordt stop

Two Dordt College employees are participating in the Sea-to-Sea cross country bike ride this summer, sponsored by the Christian Reformed Church denomination in partnership with the Reformed Church of America to raise awareness and funds for the fight against poverty.

Director of the Annual Fund, Barb Mellema, will cycle the entire ride from Seattle to Jersey City, and hopes to meet many Dordt alumni and supporters along the way. Director of the Library Sheryl Taylor will cycle from Denver to Grand Rapids. In addition to their goal of raising $14,000 to fight poverty, the pair plan to wear the name of Dordt College across the country.
