(Friday, January 4; Sioux Center, Iowa) Two new pieces of exercise equipment have been purchased by the Dordt College Recreation Center for use by it’s members through a nearly ten-thousand dollar grant from the Pella Rolscreen Foundation.

The machines, a Matrix E5xc Elliptical Machine and a Total Body Arc Trainer, have been installed and are already in use. Both are made by Cybex.

“The generosity of Pella Rolscreen is much appreciated,” says Glenn Bouma, Director of the Dordt College Recreation Center. “This gift allows us to upgrade equipment in our fitness room for all of our users to benefit from.”

In a letter from Tim Carpenter (Plant Manager-Sioux Center Operations) and Judy Delperdang (Human Resources Manager-Sioux Center Operations) they say, “Pella Corporation and its team members sincerely appreciate your (Dordt College Recreation Center’s) commitment to wellness and encouraging physical activity in our community.”
