Alternative rock at Dec. 15 concert

December 8, 2007

An alternative rock band will perform at Dordt College’s B.J. Haan Auditorium Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m.

The Peasants describe their music as acoustically driven rock and roll. Along with acoustic guitar, they incorporate a number of additional instruments, including violin, viola, harmonica, keyboard, cello, banjo, and monosynth.

Band members are Chris Vogel, a Dordt student from Luverne, MN; Ross Charles, Alan Henry, and Bob Taylor, resident director at Dordt.

The opening act for the evening is Nathan Smith, a Dordt senior from Cedar Rapids, who will sing and play guitar.

There’s no charge to attend the concert. For more information, contact Chris Vogel at or 605-310-1382.
