Violin recital December 8

Kirbee Tagney, a Dordt College senior from Kimball, MN, will present a violin recital Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Also performing will be Heather Hooyer, Abby Ahrenholz, Kiley Boone, and Amanda Stout. The public is invited to the recital and a reception following the performance.

Featured on Tagney’s program will be “Solo Sonata” by Sergei Prokofiev, with a fascinating blend of very old styles and very modern sounds.

Kirbee is the daughter of Brian and Julie Tagney, Kimball, MN. She is an English major with an emphasis in literature. Her violin instructors while attending Dordt College have been Jameson Cooper and Eunho Kim.
