Rock Show 2007 on Sept. 21

During last year's "Mission: Impossible" themed pops concert, Dr. Henry Duitman was apprehended and led away by student M.C., Donald Roth. Duitman said more surprises are in store for the upcoming performance.

Meet the “rock stars” at Dordt College, performing in the college’s annual pops concert Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

“Rock Show 2007” will feature the 80-member band and 25-member orchestra under the direction of Dr. Henry Duitman. Dressed to fit the part, the bands will perform a wide variety of music and treat the audience to many surprises.

The program promises to be a fun evening. The free performance is sponsored by the Dordt College Music Department.

Following the program, the Student Activities Club (SAC) will be serving popcorn and pop at the Campus Center, where they will also present the Disney Pixar film "Cars."
