Live Webcast! Convocation Today

Zylstra

Dordt College will begin the new 2007-2008 academic year with a convocation ceremony on Thursday, August 30, at 11 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. The public is welcome to attend.

A live webcast will also be available via Dordt's website.

Speaking at the convocation will be Dr. Carl E. Zylstra, president of Dordt College. His topic will be “The Colors Really Are Black and White.”
Convocations are a formal bringing together of the academic community to re-examine the learning institution’s vision and connection to a variety of disciplines and callings.

Dr. Zylstra is the third president of Dordt College, appointed to that position in 1996. Dr. Zylstra also hosts a weekly radio talk program, “Conversations” Friday mornings on KDCR radio station, discussing topics of contemporary interest with invited guests.
