Tze-Ming Ng to speak March 27

Dr. Peter Tze-Ming Ng will present a public lecture at Dordt College on Tuesday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Classroom Building Lecture Hall CL160.

Dr. Tze-Ming Ng is from the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The title of his lecture is “Mission Strategy and Cultural Accommodation: The Three-self Movement and the Development of a Native Church in China.”

Professor Ng will explain a movement in China that has become significant to the understanding of mission theology today, with a focus on Christian mission in a non-Christian world. He will also briefly review mission strategy in China and Chinese Christianity in the past 50 years.

This lecture is sponsored by the Dordt College Theology Department and is free and open to the public.
