"A Mosaic of Art Styles" in Campus Center Gallery

Five senior art majors at Dordt College will exhibit their work March 8-27 at the Campus Center Art Gallery in Sioux Center. The exhibit is titled, "A Mosaic of Art Styles."

Participating artists are Ginelle Bakker, Welland, ON; Joanna Esselink, Emo, ON; Pam Groenewegen, Oakland, ON; Rachel Palmer, Norfolk, VA; and Jasmine Pluger, McBain, MI. Their work includes paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, multimedia work and graphic design.

A public reception will be Friday, March 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The artists will discuss their work beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Each of the students selected their best efforts and final portfolios from their years of study and art production at Dordt College for the show. A wide range of studio techniques and media are represented. This is the first of three senior shows that will take place before graduation.

The exhibit is free and open for display daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Dordt College Campus Center Art Gallery.
