Climate change is topic of Thursday lecture

“Climate Change and Agriculture: Learning Lessons, Proposing Solutions,” will be the topic of Cynthia Rosenzweig on Thursday, March 1, 1:30 p.m. in the Science Building lecture hall SC101, with a reception to follow.Rosenzweig has been studying climate change and agriculture for 20 years, and holds a doctorate in plant, soil and environmental sciences from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is a research agronomist at NASA-Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, which is affiliated with Columbia University.
The lecture will be followed by comments from invited guests and questions and discussion from the audience. The lecture is free and open to the public.
