Choir performance in Sioux Falls Jan. 15

Concert ChoirThe Dordt College Concert Choir will perform in concert at the First Christian Reformed Church, Sioux Falls, on Monday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. First Christian Reformed Church is located at 2901 E. 26th St. in Sioux Falls.

This free concert is one of eight performances on a concert tour that will take the group to North and South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, as well as Manitoba and Ontario, Canada.

Dordt College’s 53-voice choir is under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis. The program for the evening includes a wide range of music, including classical repertoire by Parsons, Mozart, Rheinberger, and Bairstow; contemporary music from Norway, Australia, and Italy; and folk music from Canada and Kenya.

Admission to the concert is free, with a free-will donation being received to help defray tour expenses.
