The program for the recital includes “Laudamus te” from Mozart’s Mass in C Minor; arias from various operas, the flashy Rossini piece “L’Invito,” a comic song about a tone deaf singer, as well as selections by Handel, Poulenc, Fauré and Verdi. Concluding the recital will be a scene from Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love.

She was selected twice as a finalist in the Lewis and Clark Chapter NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition, and in statewide NATS competitions has been a semi-finalist twice and has received second place and an honorable mention.
During her time at Dordt has been awarded a DC Vocal Music Scholarship, the Jack Grotenhuis Memorial Music Scholarship, the Joe Dahm Music Scholarship and a Fort Dodge Choral Society Scholarship.
