Arsenic and Old Lace

It has everything a good comedy requires: two charming old ladies who are actually murderers, a crazy brother who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt, a love story, and the antics of bumbling cops.

The Dordt College Theatre production, Arsenic and Old Lace, is entertainment the whole family will enjoy! Evening performances for Parents’ Weekend at the college will be Oct. 19 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. Four performances for the general public are scheduled the following week, Oct. 25-28. Seating is also available at the Thursday noon matinee performance on Oct. 26.

All performances will be presented at the Te Paske Theatre, located at Sioux Center High School, 550 Ninth St. NE in Sioux Center.

To make reservations for any of these performances, call the box office at 722-6430 (Monday-Thursday 1-5 and 7-9; Friday 1-5 p.m.) or reserve tickets on-line. The ticket price is $8 for adults, $6 for K-12, and $5 for Dordt students.

The cast for this production consists of Justine Moelker, Chatham, ON; Zach Eggebeen, Sheboygan, WI; Jonathon Shaffstall, West Milford, NJ; Andrew Tacoma, Falmouth, MI ; Paul Krygsman, Sioux Center, IA; Amanda Nyman, St. Albert, AB; Kendra Triemstra, Bozeman, MT; Dan Fynaardt, Pella, IA; Kevin Riemersma, Sheboygan, WI; Marcel Wassink, Leduc, AB; Andrew Voss, Aplington, IA; Dan Den Boer, Sioux Center, IA; Andrea De Jong, Sioux Center, IA; Jon Bushnell, Kingsburg, CA; Ryan VanderWel, Colorado Springs, CO; and Matt Turner, Mesa, AZ. The play is directed by Teresa Ter Haar, assistant professor of Theatre Arts at Dordt College.
