The Dordt College Master of Education Program is in the midst of three weeks of summer session July 10-28.

This innovative summer program allows teachers to earn their master's degree in three to four summers while spending minimal time away from home. Each course consists of two phases, a pre-campus phase and an on-campus phase.

The pre-campus phase involves preparation, such as reading assignments, prior to coming to campus. Each course requires only one week on campus during the month of July.

Courses offered July 24-28 include EDUC 500: Research Methods in Education, EDUC 521: Structuring School Curriculum and a staff development course EDUC 56A: What's New Besides Harry: A Children's Literature Update PreK-8. Two online courses are also continuing throughout the summer: EDUC 540-Practicum in Curriculum and Instruction and EDUC 543: Middle School Curriculum and Instruction
