Mr. Jason Lief from Pella, Iowa, has been hired as an instructor of theology at Dordt College for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Lief currently teaches Bible and history courses at Pella Christian High School. He has ten years teaching experience at Pella and Faith Christian High School in Bigelow, Minn., where he was also service and chapel coordinator.

Mr. Lief earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history (with a secondary education endorsement) at Northwestern College. He then earned his Master of Arts degree in theology from Wheaton College Graduate School, with a focus on Biblical Studies and Historical Theology.

“Being familiar with Dordt College, I know it is an excellent academic institution firmly rooted in the Reformed tradition,” said Lief. “My family and I are very excited to be a part of the Dordt community.”

Originally from Willmar, Minn., Jason and his wife, Tamara, and their two children (Naomi, age 4, and Christian, age 2) will move to Sioux Center in June.
