Dordt vocal concert March 7

Dordt College’s Women’s Chorus, Kantorei, and Chorale will perform in concert Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The chorale, directed by Dr. Benjamin Kornelis, will present folksongs from around the world, including Greek, Norwegian, Bosnian and Samoan folk songs, as well as the early American hymn, “His Voice,” and an arrangement of “Amazing Grace.”
The Kantorei, also directed by Dr. Kornelis, will present “Panis Angelicus,” “Sing Joyfully,” “Horatius Villam Habet,” “Till There Was You,” and “God Be in my Head.”
Dordt’s Women’s Chorus, directed by Pam De Haan, will present three sacred pieces, along with a Judeo-Spanish folksong with clarinet accompaniment.
The concert is free, with a freewill offering being received to benefit music scholarships at Dordt College.
