Pops concert is Friday, Sept. 16

“American Bandstand” is the theme of an informal pops concert at Dordt College on Friday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium, Sioux Center.

Performing will be the Dordt College Band and Chamber Orchestra. Sharing the stage will be dancers from Robin’s School of Dance in Sioux Center.

The program promises to be fun for the whole family, with selections ranging from rock music to waltzes and swing-style songs. The Dordt musicians present this annual event in costume, under the direction of Dr. Henry Duitman.

Admission is free for this event, sponsored by the Dordt Music Department.
