Vision at Work and Play performance
June 15, 2005
A cast of Dordt College musical performers will present five free stage performances at the Te Paske Theatre, Sioux Center High School, June 30, July 1 and 2. The live stage show, with multimedia interludes, has been staged in twelve locations across the U.S. and Canada since January. The Fourth of July weekend matinees and evening shows offer the final opportunity to view this special Dordt College Jubilee production.
Written by author James Calvin Schaap, and directed by Jeri Schelhaas, Vision at Work and Play features a cast of eight Dordt theater performers. Coupled with video glimpses of the lives of some extraordinary alumni, the show entertains while testifying to the faithfulness of God in the lives of those who trust in him.
Vision at Work and Play will be presented at 7 p.m. June 30 and July 1, with matinee performances July 1 at 2 p.m. and July 2 at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Preceding each performance will be a 30 minute slideshow of college students as they appeared in the ‘50s and in each decade to the present.
Tickets to attend the show are complementary, but reservations should be made in advance to ensure available seating. Call 1-800-343-6738, extension #3 to reserve tickets for any of the five shows.
