“What’s a Dordt?” a question once asked of him by someone unfamiliar with the college, will be the topic of his talk.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College and his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Calvin Seminary. Dr. Hulst has repeatedly served as a delegate to Christian Reformed Synods, and worked to promote Christian education as a chairman of the Western Christian High School Board; member and chairman of the Dordt College Board of Trustees; and as a speaker at Christian school conferences and conventions throughout the U.S. and Canada.
