Job fair offers employment opportunities

Job FairA job fair at the Dordt College Campus Center Feb. 24 brought area businesses together with job seekers from Dordt College, Northwestern College and the region.

Ten businesses participated in the second annual job fair, co-sponsored by Dordt and Northwestern. The first year of the event was held in Orange City, on Northwestern’s campus.

Job opportunities ran the gamut from summer jobs and internships to career opportunities for students who are near completion of their degrees.

Representatives from several participating businesses said they were pleased with the interest shown throughout the day, as well as the new pool of applicants they will be able to draw from.
