New manager for Dordt Bookstore

Lora De Vries, Sioux Center, is the new bookstore manager at Dordt College, filling the position vacated by the retirement of Cornie Rylaarsdam.

De Vries is a Dordt College graduate who taught at Hull Christian School for about four years before accepting a position at Wal Mart in Sioux Center, where she has been a department manager, supervisor and trainer for more than 16 years.

De Vries’ husband, Jerry, is the owner of De Vries Trucking. They have two children, Tara (De Vries) Dekkers, who is a senior at Dordt College; and Chad De Vries, a student at NICC.
