Disney ‘toons’ featured in upcoming concert

“Music from the Cartoons” will be presented in an informal pops concert at Dordt College on Friday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m. at the B.J. Haan Auditorium, Sioux Center.

The program promises to be fun for the whole family, with selections from “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Mickey Mouse March,” “Bugs Bunny,” “The Flintstones,” and “Loony Tunes.” The Dordt College Band and Chamber Orchestra are presenting the annual event in costume, under the direction of Dr. Henry Duitman.

Admission is free for this event, sponsored by the Dordt Music Department.
