Princeton Review names Dordt to ‘Best in the Midwest’ list

Dordt College has been named among the “Best in the Midwest” by the 2005 Princeton Review.

The Review annually collects data by interviewing college students, thereby identifying colleges and universities that stand out within each region of the country. Nationally, 706 colleges were selected to the Best list in five regions of the country. Dordt College was among the 170 colleges representing the ‘Best in the Midwest.’

In a “Students Say” profile posted on, one Dordt undergraduate wrote, “The student body here is the biggest reason that I chose this school. There is a general attitude of friendship and kindness all across campus that one cannot miss even if only here for a one-day visit.”

Dordt College is a Christian, liberal arts college in Sioux Center, Iowa, which offers more than 50 programs of study to approximately 1,300 students from the United States, Canada, and several foreign countries.
