Scoby Qualifies for National Meet

For the fourth time in her track career at Dordt College Jacque Scoby has qualified for the NAIA national outdoor track and field meet in the javelin event.

The senior from Morrill, Kansas qualified with a throw of 135'7 at the Pittsburg State University Invite held on March 18 at Pittsburg, Kansas.

Scoby earned NAIA All-American status as a sophomore with a sixth place finish in the event at the national meet. As a junior Scoby was hampered by arm trouble much of the season but still managed to qualify for the national meet. Scoby earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors as a junior.

Jacque is an English major and is the daughter of Jim and Louise Scoby and is a 2000 graduate of Sabetha High School.
