I am the Field Experience Coordinator for the Education Department. I work with PK-12 schools (local, national, and international) to provide practical experience for education students throughout their time in the Education Program.
I hold a BA in Secondary Education: English and History from Dordt and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Dordt as well. Prior to joining the education department, I taught English at both the high school and middle school levels.
In addition to working with the education field experiences and student teaching placements, I teach a section of Core 100, the required freshman perspectives course, and supervise student teachers.
