I am excited to be teaching reading and early childhood education courses this year! I am a doctoral candidate at the University of South Dakota, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction and reading.  I am a graduate of Dordt College's Masters in Education program and I have a BA in Elementary Education from Dordt College with endorsements in reading and early childhood education.  I have many years of teaching experience in the elementary grades. After owning Learning Ship Preschool for 17 years, I am looking forward to working with Dordt's Stepping Stones Preschool!
