Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Sioux Falls-GPAC Quarterfinal

November 9, 2002

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders started fast this evening and fought off the Sioux Falls Cougars in game three to earn a 3-0 win in Great Plains Athletic Conference post season quarterfinal round action. Sioux Falls took a brief lead at 24-22 in game three but couldn't hold the lead as the Lady Defenders scored eight of the next ten points for the win. Dordt was led by Jill Bouma's 14 kills while Rebecca Baber had 13 kills and Dre Johnson and Tara De Boer added 10 kills each. Alisa Den Hartog had 50 assists and four ace serves while Laura Van Kley led the team in digs with 15. Sioux Falls, ending the season at 19-17, was led by Lindsey Schneiderman with nine kills while Liz Voss had 15 digs.
