October 19, 2010

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender volleyball team had little trouble with Dakota Wesleyan on Tuesday night in Great Plains Athletic Conference action. Set two had the Defenders run off six points in a row for a 9-2 lead only to have Wesleyan cut the gap to 12-9. A service error by the visitors ended their four point run and they were never closer than three with an eight point run putting it out of reach at 22-11. Dorinda Hibma had two of her match high five service aces during that run.
