(Fremont, Nebraska) Dordt College won its 25th match of the season on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Midland Warriors in Fremont, Nebraska. The Defenders won by set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 25-16.

The Defenders got a match high 17 kills from Kendra Potgeter and Lindsey Moerman had 10 kills to help spearhead the Dordt effort. Danae Geels added nine kills as Dordt hit for a .212 kill efficiency.

The Defenders also piled up 80 digs led by Dorinda Hibma's 28 and Carrie Vande Kamp had 14 with a team high 23 assists. Jessica De Stigter put up 16 assists and had three service aces.

Midland, who had earlier knocked off Nebraska Wesleyan this week, fell to 2-9 in the conference. The Warriors were led by Katelyn Kerkman with ten kills.

Dordt will face Dakota Wesleyan on Tuesday night in its next Great Plains Athletic Conference action. Dordt stands 6-3 in league play.
