The Dordt College Defender volleyball team made it five wins in a row and ran their record to 6-1 with a 3-0 win over Malone (Ohio) on Friday at the Cornerstone (Michigan) Volleyball Classic.

A narrow win in game one of 32-30 triggered a pair of blowout wins in games two and three by 30-16 and 30-12 margins. Dordt was paced by Steph Goslinga's 29 assists, good for nearly 10 assists per game while Larissa Veldhuizen had nine kills and Autumn Vande Kamp eight. Kendra Potgeter had six kills and Kristin De Ronde five while Betsy Van't Hul dug up 14 kill attempts by Malone.

Dordt has won five in a row dating back to last weekend's loss to Georgetown.
