Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Midland Lutheran

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender volleyball team won their seventh match in a row Saturday night with a 3-0 win over Midland Lutheran in Sioux Center by game scores of 30-22, 30-17 and 30-18.

Dordt College broke a tight game one open, extending a 18-17 lead to 25-17 and took the first game 30-22. The Defenders led game two from start to finish on the way to a 30-17 win and won game three 30-18, breaking open a game that was 19-14 at one time.

Kristin De Ronde led Dordt College with 14 kills while Lindsey Van Wyk had 13 kills, one ace and 22 digs. Emily Van Voorst put up 29 assists and Betsy Van't Hul had 13 digs.

Midland Lutheran was topped by Rachel Nisi's 17 kills, three aces and 16 digs.

Dordt is now 16-8 overall and 4-3 in the conference while Midland Lutheran falls to 5-15 and 1-5 in the GPAC.
