Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Texas Wesleyan-National Tournament

(San Diego, California) The Dordt College Lady Defender volleyball team dropped to 2-1 in pool play at the NAIA national volleyball tournament this afternoon. The Lady Defenders dropped a 32-30 decision in game one after leading 16-10. Game two featured 12 ties, the last at 24-24 before losing 30-27. Game three was tight through out with 10 ties before Wesleyan pulled out the win at 32-30. Dordt missed on a chance to win it, serving for the win at 29-28.

Dordt was led by Tara De Boer's 14 kills while Rachel Van Beek had 11. Emily Van Voorst had 44 assists and Liz Van Voorst had two ace serves.

Isabella Gualberto led Texas Wesleyan with 14 kills.
