Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. Wayne State (NE)

(Wayne, Nebraska) The Dordt Lady Defenders lost to Wayne State tonight 3 games to 0.

Dordt trailed much of game one. They came back to tie it late in the game and were serving for the win at 30-29, but Wayne State came back to win 34-32.

At one point in game two, Dordt led 25-18, but Wayne State came back to win 31-29. There were 11 ties in game two with the final tie at 28 points each.

The Wildcats were led by Jacey Kuck-Schwarz with 17 kills while Dordt was topped by Rachel Van Beek's 13 kills and Tara De Boer's 11. The Wildcats were rated 5th in the most recent NCAA Division II Midwest Regional ratings while the Lady Defenders are tabbed seventh in the NAIA nationally.
