Dordt College Women's Volleyball vs. College of St. Mary

(Omaha, Nebraska) The Dordt Defenders saw their 19-game winning streak come to an end this evening with a 3-2 loss to third-ranked College of St. Mary.

The two teams split the first two games of the night, then battled through 14 ties in Game 3, which Dordt eventually won. St. Mary battled back in Game 4 to force the fifth game.

The Defenders held a 14-9 advantage in Game 5 and looked poised to earn the upset win before St. Mary came back to tie the score at 14-all, and eventually win the game and the match.

Tara De Boer turned in a solid 19 kills, followed by Rachel Pontier's 18 kills. Jill Bouma had 30 digs for the Defenders. St. Mary's Sandy Kirchner had a game-high 20 kills, as the Flames remain undefeated on the season.
