Dordt College Volleyball vs. National American (South Dakota) National Tournament Pool Match

(Palm Beach, Florida) The Dordt College Lady Defenders battled second rated National American to a 2-3 decision in the 2001 NAIA National Tournament Pool play. The win by the Mavericks gives them the Pool B Championship and puts them in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Dordt refused to go quietly, scoring five unanswered points in game four to turn a 28-25 deficit into a 30-28 win, forcing a fifth and decisive game.
