Dordt College Volleyball vs. Baker-Red Raider Classic

(Orange City, Iowa) The #20 ranked Dordt College Defenders won their second match of the weekend on Saturday, August 27 with a win over Baker (Kansas) 13-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.
Jana Van Zanten led the Defenders with 13 kills and had 11 digs while getting in on four blocks as well. Jessica De Stigter lofted 25 assists and added 10 digs. Van Zanten hit over .300 with three errors and 31 kill attempts.
"We had a great finish to this four set match with continued improvement in each area of offense and defense," said Dordt College coach Chad Hanson.
Dordt and Baker will meet again next weekend in a classic hosted by Bellevue. Baker drops to 1-2 for the weekend. Dordt will face Jamestown (North Dakota) in the final match of the two-day event for Dordt.
