(Home) The Dordt College Lady Defender volleyball team upped their record to 8-2 with a home opening win over the University of Sioux Falls. The Lady Defenders won in three straight games 30-11, 30-12 and 30-16. Darci Wassenaar led the Defenders with 20 kills. Dre Johnson and Rachel Pontier added 9 kills while Lacey Jae Huisman added 8 kills.
Sophomore setter Alisa Kooima put up 54 assists. A J Lefever led the Defenders with 18 digs.
