(Orange City, Iowa) Dordt College won their second five-set match in as many tries on Friday with a 3-2 win over the University of Great Falls at the Northwestern Classic in Orange City, Iowa. Dordt came from down 2-1 to score the win 25-15, 22-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11.
Kendra Potgeter had 17 kills with just two hitting errors in 28 attempts and was in on six block assists. Jessica De Stigter lofted 32 assists and had five service aces and Dorinda Hibma had a team high 17 digs.
Dordt also got 12 kills from Jana Van Zanten and Dane Geels got to 10 kills and also had six block assists. Bekah Posthuma had 16 assists and Jocelyn Bousema was credited with three service aces.
Dordt is 2-0 and will play Indiana Wesleyan and Biola (California) on Saturday at the classic.
