(Hastings, Nebraska) Dordt College handled #22 ranked Oklahoma Baptist Friday evening in the Hastings College Volleyball Classic to improve to 9-2. Dordt lost set one 25-19 and proceeded to win lopsided victories in set two and three 25-14 and 25-11 to take control of the match and held on for a tight 25-23 win in set four.
Dordt's Kendra Potgeter had 16 kills while Lindsey Moerman had eight and Brittany Landegent had seven. Dorinda Hibma led the team with 22 digs and Kari Van Beek had 11.
Jessica De Stigter put up 17 assists and had 12 digs while Bekah Posthuma had a team high 26 assists. The Defenders were strong at the net, registering 13 blocks as a team with Potgeter in on seven block assists and Moerman had five.
Dordt is 9-2 and will face Black Hills State and the College of the Ozarks on Saturday.
