(Bellevue, Nebraska) Dordt College won their second match at the Bellevue Classic on Friday, September 24 by a 3-0 margin. Dordt slipped by Lindenwood (Missouri) in set one 28-16 and then took sets two and three by scores of 25-23 and 25-19.
Kendra Potgeter led the Defenders with 12 kills while Danae Geels got nine down and Loy Griess had seven.
Jessica De Stigter and Bekah Posthuma lofted 21 and 18 assists each and Dorinda Hibma accounted for 15 digs and De Stigter 10. Brandee Zeutenhorst dropped four ace serves in.
Dordt improves to 18-3 while Lindenwood is now 12-8. Dordt will play two more matches tomorrow at the Bruin Classic.
