Dordt College Volleyball vs. Midamerica Nazarene-Bellevue Classic

(Bellevue, Nebraska) Dordt College fought off a sluggish performance to win a 3-2 decision over Midamerica Nazarene (Kansas) on Saturday, September 25 at the Bellevue Classic.

Dordt lost set one 26-24 and then took sets two and three by scores of 25-15, 25-14. The Pioneers managed a 25-22 win in set four with Dordt eventually winning the set 15-10 in set five.

Dordt's balanced attack of Brittany Landegent, Danae Geels and Kendra Potgeter led the way with ten kills each and Lindsay Moerman added nine. Dorinda Hibma had a match high 29 digs with Potgeter getting five assisted blocks and one solo.

Bekah Posthuma put up 23 assists with 12 digs and Jessica De Stigter had 20 assists. Jocelyn Bousema recorded three ace serves and 14 digs.

Dordt improves to 19-3 with the win while Midamerica Nazarene is 5-13.
