(Olathe, Kansas) Dordt College handed Benedictine (Kansas) its third straight loss in a row on Saturday morning with a 3-0 win at the Midamerica Nazarene Classic in Olathe, Kansas. Dordt won convincingly in each set by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.
Dordt had a balanced scoring attack with Lindsey Moerman getting seven kills to share match honors with Kendra Potgeter and Danae Geels. Loy Griess added six from the outside. Moerman and Potgeter had five assisted blocks each on defense and Potgeter got credit for one solo.
Bekah Posthuma and Jessica De Stigter split the setting duties with Posthuma getting 16 and De Stigter 11. Dorinda Hibma got to 24 digs to lead the Defenders who are now 15-2 overall and will face Baker (Kansas) late Saturday afternoon.
