Dordt College Volleyball vs. Southern Nazarene-Hastings Classic

(Hastings, Nebraska) Dordt College handed Southern Nazarene (Oklahoma) their third loss in ten outings this season with a 3-0 win in volleyball action at the Hastings College Classic Friday morning, September 10.
Dordt had balanced attacks with Kendra Potgeter, Danae Geels and Jana Van Zanten all putting down eight kills. Dorinda Hibma was the team leader with 15 digs and Jessica De Stigter was able to put up 17 assists.
Lindsey Moerman, Geels and Potgeter were strong at the net with six block assists each as Dordt improved to 8-2 and have won six matches in a row. The Defenders will play nationally ranked Oklahoma Baptist later this afternoon. Dordt is also scheduled to face the College of Ozarks and Black Hills State on Saturday.
