(Bourbaonnais, Illinois) Dordt College lost a 3-0 match with the Bellevue Bruins in a match up of ranked teams at a classic hosted by Olivet Nazarene near Chicago on Saturday, September 19. Dordt lost by set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-16 as the #12 Bruins improved to 11-3 and Dordt slips to 11-4.
Kendra Potgeter had 12 kills with Cassie Huizenga putting up 15 assists and Jessica De Stigter 10. Dorinda Hibma had an ace serve and 22 digs in the while Jana Van Zanten put down six kills and had seven digs in the loss.
Dordt will return home to face Dakota Wesleyan on Tuesday, September 22 in GPAC play at the DeWitt Gym.
