Dordt College Volleyball vs. Lindenwood (Missouri)-Olivet Nazarene Tournament

(Bourbaonnais, Illinois) Dordt College lost a 3-1 volleyball decision to the #22 ranked Lindenwood (Missouri) Lions in a match played at an event hosted this weekend by Olivet Nazarene near Chicago. Dordt dropped sets one and two by scores of 25-19 and 25-17 before winning set three 26-24. The Lions then upended Dordt 25-20 in set four to earn the win and drop Dordt to 10-3 for the season.
Dordt was led by Kendra Potgeter's 11 and Jana Van Zanten's had eight kills. Cassie Huizenga had 16 assists and Jessica DeStigter 11 with Dorinda Hibma recording 16 digs.
Dordt, who entered the weekend as the #16 team in the country, will face Indiana Wesleyan at 10:00 Saturday morning for the conclusion of pool play. Dordt will then face an opponent to be announced at 2:00 in the afternoon to conclude the weekend.
