(Bourbaonnais, Illinois) Dordt College earned a win in pool play at the Olivet Nazarene Classic near Chicago on Saturday. Dordt upended Indiana Wesleyan for the second time this season to improve to 11-3 for the season by set scores of 25-15, 26-24, 25-22.
Kendra Potgeter put away 20 kills for the Defenders with Brittany Landegent putting down eight and Jana Van Zanten had seven with Betsy Van't Hul spiking five. Cassie Huizenga put up 25 assists and Jessica De Stigter was good for 11 with two ace serves. Dorinda Hibma was the team leader in digs with 25 and Jana Van Zanten had nine.
Dordt will now face Bellevue for the last match of the classic.
