(Bourbaonnais, Illinois) The Dordt College Defender volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision to the #6 ranked Georgetown (Kentucky) Tigers team at a weekend event hosted by Olivet Nazarene near Chicago.
Georgetown controlled the match from start to finish in taking a 25-15, 25-19, 25-19 decision. Kendra Potgeter and Loy Griess had seven kills each while Cassie Huizenga and Jessica De Stigter had 14 and 10 assists each. Dorinda Hibma got to 16 digs to lead Dordt.
The Defender slide to 10-2 while Georgetown improves to 16-0. Dordt faces Lindenwood (Missouri) later tonight.
