Dordt College Volleyball vs. Haskell-College of Saint Mary Tournament

(Omaha, Nebraska) Dordt College ran their season opening win streak to seven matches with a 25-14, 25-9, 25-12 win over Haskell (Kansas) tonight in a classic hosted by the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Defenders had little trouble for their second match in a row in dispatching the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference member. Dordt had balance again with April Solsma knocking down eight kills and Kendra Potgeter (Junior; Byron Center, Michigan) added six. Jessica De Stigter (Sophomore; Sioux Center, Iowa) had 17 assists and ten digs while Cassie Huizenga (Senior; Orange City, Iowa) assisted on eight kills and Dorinda Hibma (Junior; Sioux Center, Iowa) had 12 digs to lead the team.

Dordt is now 7-0 and will face Tabor and Hannibal LaGrange at 10:00 and 2:00 Saturday morning and afternoon.
